A hypnotic work for a cinematic ascent

In exploring the boundaries between reality and imagination, Visual System transforms the Atomium elevator into a captivating luminous experience with Look Up: a new monumental work specially designed and created for the Atomium. Each section of the metal frame is enhanced by light, to create a giant luminous tube 100 meters high, a sculpture that is both monumental and minimalist which recalls the ingenuity of the structure. “Through this elevator, once the fastest in Europe in 1958, today, the public is invited on a fascinating journey to the heart of light. Summoning the multiple imaginations of science fiction, the ascent into the Atomium thus becomes a cinematic experience that is both personal and collective.
