Rooted in the Thai night like a forest of steel and light, Polygon rose from the earth as both shelter and phenomenon. Hundreds of bodies gathered beneath its canopy, bathed in red, swept through by beams that split the sky open above them. The structure breathed with the music — organic and geometric at once, somewhere between a living organism and a celestial map. Polygon 2018 was not a backdrop.
